Our Unique Approach to Writing Tutoring

Building confidence

Writing well boosts confidence. The better your child can articulate themselves clearly, the less frustration they will experience with homework, tests, or projects because they can explain themselves with clarity.

Tailored tutoring

Different minds require different types of instruction in order to be successful. We are experts in teaching children with learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and autism. Instruction that considers the child’s unique learning style helps children excel more quickly and understand material without frustration. We also teach children who are below grade-level for whatever reason, including academic disruptions; no diagnosis is needed. If your child is struggling to read – for whatever reason – we can help.

Developing structure

Writing organizes the writer’s thoughts, feelings, and self expression. Children can better explain how they’re feeling, what they’re thinking, or what their needs are when they know how to organize that information. Developing the skill of writing will do that for them.
