Children’s Autism Social Group in Tucson, AZ

Our Autism Social Group is designed specifically for children and teens on the autism spectrum who benefit from structured support while practicing real-world social skills.
We group students by age and developmental level, with no more than 5 children per group, ensuring every child receives individualized attention in a calm, supportive setting.
About our Autism Social Group for Children and Teens
Unlike adult-led conversations, peer interactions can be fast, unpredictable, and socially complex. Our social groups give students the chance to practice these skills with same-age peers while guided by trained instructors.
Students learn how to:- Participate in natural, back-and-forth conversations
- Take turns speaking and avoid perseverating on one topic
- Listen actively and make relevant follow-up comments
- Read social cues and join group play or discussion
- Build flexibility, confidence, and connection with peers
- Practice problem-solving and emotional regulation during social moments
Each session blends direct instruction, guided practice, structured activities, and real peer interaction. Our goal is to help students develop meaningful friendships, improve communication skills, and navigate social situations with confidence.
Ages: For ages 6–16. Children are placed with their same-aged peers.
Cost: $75 per week – ESA and private pay accepted

Virtual group for teens:
Wednesdays & Thursdays from 1:00-2:00pm
Great for homeschooling families!
In-person social group (for kids ~6 to 8 years old):
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:30-5:30pm
